Angel Di María might be signing for PSG very soon

Di María has been one of Real Madrid‘s most important players in their successful campaign last season, which culminated with the Merengues clinching the 10th UEFA Champions League in the club’s history after beating Atletico Madrid by 2-1 in a final played in Lisbon.

However and according to information being leaked mostly on Spanish newspapers, it appears that Florentino Pérez is determined in finding a new club for the Argentinian winger, especially after the Merengues signed Toni Kroos for 25 million euros and James Rodríguez for 80 million euros.

The main candidates to hire Di María‘s services for the next season are the French champions, Paris Saint-Germain. The Ligue 1 winners are reportedly only waiting to complete the deals that will involve selling Lavezzi and Pastore, in order to abide with the new financial fair play rules.

The transfer value is allegedly around the 65 million euros, which would make of Di María Real Madrid‘s highest selling ever. It would clearly surpass Mesut Ozil‘s deal numbers from last season (2013-14), who moved to Arsenal FC after the Merengues got paid 50 million euros.

PSG are willing to offer Di María a 5-year contract and pay him a 8-million euros net salary per year. These figures are almost twice as high as those the Argentina international currently earns in Real Madrid.
