Gerard Deulofeu mocks Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal celebration gesture

by

Earlier week, both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid already started their 2014-15 pre-season works in order to prepare themselves for the challenges of a very demanding campaign, but until we get to kickoff with the action on the field, things already started getting interesting off the pitch…

After having stated a few days ago that he would rather play for Stoke City than signing and representing Real Madrid, Deulofeu has now decided to take the provocations to another level.

Barcelona‘s youngster Gerard Deulofeu, was caught on camera mocking Cristiano Ronaldo‘s trademark goal celebration gesture, just after he had parked his car to enter the club’s training facilities for another pre-season practice session. The Spanish youngster got out of his car, walked down a few meters and when he spotted someone he knew coming on his way he copied Ronaldo‘s “I am here” [“Eu estou aqui“, in Portuguese] gestures, by repeatedly pointing his own finger to his chest.

The 20-year old winger has returned to the “Condal City” after a 1-year loan to Everton FC where he had the chance to experience the physical side of playing in a competition like the English Premier League, but this season he’s hopeful about winning a place in this Barça‘s, especially now that a new manager [Luis Enrique] has taken charge of the club’s destiny.

Barcelona‘s first pre-season game is right this Saturday and it will be against the Recreativo de Huelva. The Blaugranas will make their debut in La Liga on August 23.
