Guardiola shows his bad temper in a Bayern Munich friendly

by

Bayern Munich keeps on preparing the new season, as they’ve went through another friendly last night, in a match held in Portland (United States), against a team formed by some of the biggest stars in the MLS (Major League Soccer). The final score was favorable to the American side, as they’ve beat Pep Guardiola‘s men by 2-1.

However, it wasn’t the final score that captured our attention after this pre-season friendly was over, but rather the incidents involving the former FC Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola.

At the end of the game, the 43-year old tactician has refused to shake hands with Caleb Porter, his “professional colleague” who was in charge of coaching the MLS All Stars team this Wednesday night. The motive behind such attitude was apparently the fact that the North-American side had made several hard tackles throughout the game and by doing so, abusing of some unnecessary roughness that ultimately led to several injuries within the Bayern Munich team.

It’s not the first time that Pep Guardiola seems to lack some sportsmanship, since he has already been in the middle of several controversial scenes during his passage for Barcelona.

As for the game itself, Bayern Munich grabbed the lead in the first half thanks to a goal from Robert Lewandowski, but the MLS side turned things around later in the second half, following Wright-Phillips and Landon Donovan‘s strikes.
