The new season in the Turkish Super Ligue is underway and Galatasaray is ready to take back the league title from the crosstown rivals Besiktas. The Turkish Super League is attracting more international talent every year and Galatasary has a squad that can compete with almost any club in Europe.

The Istanbul based team has an interesting combination of foreign and Turkish talent. The vice-captain of the team is Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, one of the best in this position in the last decade. He has been with Galatasaray since 2011, and he has made more than 200 appearances with the team.

They have the formidable Brazilian duo on defense, Mariano Ferreira and Maicon Roque. Both are new signings for the 2017-2018, Ferreira is a right back who played for Sevilla in La Liga last season, while Roque was with Sao Paulo in Brazilian Serie A last season. A third was Brazilian player, Fernando, was signed in the offseason to anchor the midfield, he played with Manchester City last season.

Selçukİnan is the captain and leader of the team in midfield, he is one of the best Turkish players and one of Galatasaray’s most recognizable faces. İnan is also a fixture in the Turkish national team and a symbol of his nation’s football, he has appeared with Turkey in 56 games and he has scored eight goals. Despite some bitter controversy in the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers İnan’s he is still a member the National Team.

As you can see, Galatasaray is making a serious effort to win the Super League Title, you can invest some money in their season odds if you join the best Turkish betting sites.
